Nursing Informatics is a combination of information, computer and nursing science, It is created to assist in the processing & management of nursing data, information, and knowledge to support nursing practice, education, research, and administration.
The theories of nursing informatics can be applied for the development of nursing informatics skills, knowledge and expertise in nursing informatics. It is for the education of nursing students and it is the transition from graduate nurse to expert nurse in terms of nursing informatics.
